Mona and Alex’s story began in the most unexpected of places – at a job interview. In the summer of 2019, Mona decided to interview for a new job at the company where Alex worked. Alex was one of her many interviewers that day. Alex remembers his first impression of Mona - intelligent and personable (and pretty and stylish, of course). Mona remembers Alex as generally uninterested in the interview process. Nonetheless, Alex was pleased when he found out she got the job and would be returning the next summer after she finished her senior year of college. It would be nearly three years from this day until Mona and Alex started dating.

Mona and Alex worked together for the next two years. The first year working together they interacted very little, primarily due to the fact that they both worked from home due to COVID. However, when they returned in-person, Alex was immediately reminded why he was drawn to Mona during their interview nearly two years before – she was beautiful, smart and magnetic. She lit up every room she was win and could even make a boring office feel energized. Also, through casual conversation, it became apparent that Mona and Alex shared many of the same interests and hobbies (Alex took every opportunity he could to learn more about her). Alex found himself drawn to Mona and was interested in getting to know her better, but was apprehensive to make his move.

Finally, in early 2022, Alex left the company where they both worked. Alex knew what he had to do and wasted very little time. Within a matter of weeks, Alex mustered up the courage to send Mona a message on Instagram and asked her to grab coffee – he considered this their first date (Mona does not, but that is a different story). They had great chemistry and agreed to grab dinner the following week. The rest is history – both knew early on that they had found the one that they would be with forever. They have been inseparable ever since.
